The 2006 Convention of the American Benedictine Academy: “Family: Matrix, Model, Muddle” was held on the Campus of Benedictine University, Lisle.

Abbot Primate Dr. Notker Wolf, OSB, gave the opening presentation
of the convention in the Abbey Church at 7:30 PM. 

The American Benedictine Academy cultivates, supports and transmits the Benedictine heritage within contemporary culture. The Academy sponsors and promotes disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research, writing and collaboration among its members. It serves as a catalyst inviting men and women to ponder creativity and to discuss the challenges to Benedictine values in the twenty-first century.
