Benedictine Hospitality
Benedictine hospitality is as old as the Order of St. Benedict, which began in 500 A.D., and is the hallmark of Western monasticism.
In the Rule, Chapter 53 on The Reception of Guests, we find:
All guests who present themselves are to be welcomed as Christ, for he himself will say: I was a stranger and you welcomed me (Matt. 25-35).
In Chapter 4 on The Tools for Good Works, we find the maxim of hospitality itself: You must honor everyone (1 Pet 2:17).
All are invited to join us for Mass and prayer. See the Abbey Schedule and Prayer and Worship schedules for more information. Tours of the Abbey can be arranged by contacting the Abbey switchboard or the guestmaster.

Welcome to our new website
As we enter into spring witnessing the rebirth of nature, while preparing ourselves spiritually during this Lenten season for the coming of Easter, we are proud to introduce the rebirth of our website. We have re-organized our content into a new user-friendly format that we hope you will find easy to navigate.
We hope you will enjoy perusing each section — whether you are on a spiritual quest, researching geneology through the cemetery listings, enjoying the photos in the photo galleries, or just looking for the Mass times (see the Prayer & Worship Schedule within the Welcome section) — we hope you find what you need.
Please sign our guest book and give us your feedback on the new design. If don't have an automated e-mail sysem set up on your computer, please send an e-mail through your regular service to StProcopiusAbbey@hotmail.com.
Come back often — content will change as needed and we will update photographs often.
God bless...
