Music, especially combined with the Liturgy, is a significant part life of a Benedictine house and time is spent by individuals and the community as a whole to make sure our prayer for the Church and the World is
done to the best of our ability.
Monks trained in music as well as those selected because of their ability to “edify their hearers” practice regularly. Students from the Abbey schools (Benet Academy and Benedictine University) also participate
from time to time, such as the ‘Madrigals’ of Benet.
