Abbot Austin’s article, ‘Idle’ Worship: Religious Structures and the Redemption of Time during Pandemic was published in the May edition of the Adoremus Bulletin. The 2400-word article further developed Abbot’s scholarship around his concept of the Structured Life Movement, by exploring the importance for the spiritual life of public and private religious structures in a post-pandemic world.
Following the article, Abbot Austin appeared on the Adoremus Interviews podcast, where he was able to go deeper into the article with Jesse Weiler, the social media manager for Adoremus, and the Director of the Liturgical Institute in Mundelein.
