The last couple of months have been quite eventful for the ducks that are currently residing at the Abbey. In late January, the ducks started laying their first eggs, and now they lay on average two eggs a day among the three of them.
In mid-February, Abbot Austin constructed a new pen for the ducks. The new pen is easier to access and clean, and has a much lower vertical profile. Our heavy snow over the last month has also given the ducks lots of new experiences, but all seem to be doing well.
