Come and See - Vocation Discernment Retreat
Summer Dates: August 14-16, 2020
Autumn Dates: October 23-25, 2020

An opportunity for Catholic men between the ages 18 to 45 years to discern how God is calling them while participating in the monastic life at St. Procopius Abbey. During the retreat, presentations are given about the Benedictine monastic life and there are opportunities for discussions and questions, silent prayer, reading and reflection.

Easter Triduum - Vocation Discernment Retreat

(from Holy Thurs to Easter Sun) 2021

Catholic men, ages 18 to 45 who are thinking about a religious vocation, are invited to St. Procopius Abbey during the Easter Triduum. Beginning Holy Thursday, (4 PM) and going through Easter Sunday, (1 PM), this retreat offers an immersion into the monastic life at St. Procopius Abbey, Lisle IL. Join the monks for prayer, work, and meals as they prepare for and celebrate these holy days. During this time, participants will learn about monastic life and receive assistance to discern God's call.

St. Andrew Dinner - High School Boys and Parents

High school boys and their parents are welcome to enjoy a meal with the monks and learn about our monastic way of life. Dinner begins at 5:40PM and is followed by a tour of the Abbey. Guests are also welcome to attend Mass at 4:50PM before the dinner and/or stay for Evening Prayer at 7:00PM. We require that one or both parents accompany their son to the event.
