St. Procopius Abbey welcomes guests, men and women, who wish to come and spend a few days praying with the monastic community and enjoying the opportunity for private reflection in quiet and peace. Guests are welcome to join the monastic community for Mass or at other prayer times.
Each room has its own private bathroom. The spacious grounds are open for a guest to walk outside and feel the presence of God in his creation. Meals are taken in the Guest Dining Room.
We do not offer structured retreats. But, if a guest wishes to talk with one of the monks, the Guestmaster will try to make arrangements.
The normal length of stay for a guest is three days. There are no established tariffs, but remuneration is left to the generosity of the individual guest.
We ask you contact the Guestmaster at least two weeks in advance with your request to stay at the Abbey. Please note that the Guest House may be busy throughout the year, especially at Easter and Christmas.
Guests are encouraged to arrive for their stay between 11am and 1pm on the first day. The abbey doors are locked at 7:30pm each day. Special circumstances may be discussed with the Guestmaster.
