The monastic community had its annual retreat from June 8 to June 11. The retreat master was Fr. James Palmigiano, OCSO, a Trappist monk of St. Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts. Due to precautions against the spread of the coronavirus, the retreat conferences were given via Zoom. In his conferences, Fr. James emphasized the amazingly wonderful love of God for us and also our acceptance of our littleness and even brokenness, especially since this allows God to work in us. (Photo: Fr.
