Summer 2026 Issue of The Clerestory

The Summer 2026 issue of St. Procopius Abbey's magazine, The Clerestory, is now available on our website. In his "From the Editor" letter, Fr. T. Becket A. Franks, O.S.B., writes "The majority of this issue praises God for the faith lives of our confreres who passed to the Lord. However, we balance the sad news with the simple profession of Br. Aaron, and my seminary high school experience with our new Pope Leo XIV, whom I know affectionately as 'Bob.'"

The first section includes photos from the Conventual Mass where Br. Aaron took professed vows on the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist on June 24, 2026, as well as his story on a day in the life of a novice.

Following Fr. Becket's story on Robert Francis Prevost, aka Pope Leo XIV, memorial pages are included on the lives of Abbot Dismas B. Kalcic, Fr. Joseph Chang, Fr. Anthony Jacob, and Fr. Kenneth Zigmond. The issue closes with a book review of Abbot Austin G. Murphy's Emotional Holiness: Discovering the Divine Plan for Your Human Emotions.
